Why is yours the best?

PrimAire® Retractable Screen Doors is the ultimate solution in retractable screen door systems. While the concept has been around for over 40 years, earlier designs were developed without the benefit of long-term testing. Most retractable screen doors were engineered by people who had very little or no experience with installing or servicing the product. In addition, since they weren’t hands-on with the product, they couldn’t see how it would function over time. PrimAire® Retractable Screen Doors was born out of this need to bring together the many years of product trials and create a unique design that not only provides a well-crafted, durable product, but with top functionality and an aesthetically appealing look.

What if it gets run into?

PrimAire® Retractable Screen Doors are designed with resilience in mind.  The screen will give since it is not stretched over a tight frame and the magnet will release if it is hit hard enough. In a very hard run through, the pull bar will release from the tracks without damaging the screen.  Our experienced technicians are on call to guide you through any repair questions.

What kind of screen do you use?

PrimAire® Retractable Screen Doors uses a fiberglass with nylon coating insect screen. This screen is the most resilient as well as commonly available in the event you should need to replace it.

What about pets?

Only you know your pet best, but our experience has been that the PrimAire® Retractable Screen Door holds up to most scenarios. Curious cats may discover that the screen is not attached in the bottom track.  Large dogs might run through it if they see something outside and forget it’s there. See the above question about run throughs.  In most cases your pet will love being able to enjoy the open doorway with the security of knowing there is a protective barrier between them and the outside.

Can the screen be replaced?

Yes! Everything you need to replace a screen is easily available at your local home improvement store or from Easy Breeze.  With guidance from our experienced technicians, you will be able to handle a complete re-screen.

Can it be locked?

You don't want to lock a retractable screen door because it will make it more susceptible to damage in the event of a run-in. As it is, the magnet can break away from being attached allowing for more flexibility and the ability to move out of your way. And besides, its nylon mesh screen doesn't yield itself to security but instead provides the most possible airflow into your house.

Can you put a screen door on french doors?

Yes, retractable screen doors are perfect for double french doors! They allow you to open both doors which lets in an incredible amount of fresh air, and when you are not using them, they are completely out of your way.
